McClelland & Stewart celebrates its centenary year with special,
limited-run hardcover editions of Canada's most beloved novels.
McClelland & Stewart has long been known for its dynamic fiction
list and for introducing and supporting new writers, writers who have
or are destined to become permanent fixtures in Canada's cultural
landscape. The last fifteen years alone have been marked by the
emergence of many of the country's most successful, highly acclaimed
fiction writers writing today. Because of their success abroad, these
writers have brought international recognition to Canada's literary
scene.
As part of our centenary year, we are making available to readers
across the country - for their own libraries or to give as gifts -
beautiful hardcover editions of celebrated, award-winning novels that,
while retaining their contemporary appeal, have become literary
classics of our time. These handsome collector's editions will have
limited runs and will be manufactured with high production values.
