Shawna Richer of the Globe and Mail has had the exclusive assignment of following Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins during Crosby’s rookie season. Prior to this assignment she was the Globe’s Atlantic bureau chief, based in Halifax, where she first met and interviewed the Crosby family. She is based in Pittsburgh, while she follows Sidney’s rookie year.
