submit your desk copy requests as they will be processed more quickly than fax or mail.
Requests will be processed as soon as possible, but please remember that books will not be shipped until you have placed an order with your bookstore and they have ordered the books from us.

Examination copies (a maximum of 6 titles per year) are available to college or
university professors seeking titles to review for course adoption consideration.
Requests must be made in writing on college or university letterhead stating the name and
ISBN of the title. For all examination copy requests, please email us first at
academictype@randomhouse.ca
or call 905-624-0672 and ask for the academic department
to check for price and availability. The charge for examination copies,
to cover shipping and handling costs, is $5.00 for each book under $30.00.
For books over $30.00, the charge is 50% of the book's retail price.
